So you’re getting bored with picking up bikes, planes and boats and your inventory filling up with multiple copies of everything?
Here’s my solution, BLOW IT UP!
Simply add this script into an easy to get too easy to click child prim.
The script will ask permission to unlink. Which you say Yes.
That’s it, pick up your item.
The next time you use your item and you’re finished with it touch the child prim you added the script to, menu appears
Die will simply die the item.
Break will cause the item to fall apart and disappear after a couple of minutes.
Explode it the same as break but with sound and an explosion particle effect.
WARNING.
Your Item will be removed from SL It does not return to inventory It will not go to trash. It will die!
DO NOT USE in No Copy items.
FAQ’s
Does it have to be a child prim, can I add the script to the root prim?
The script will work in any prim but in vehicles the root prim is normally transparent and hidden. That’s why I said “easy to click child prim”.
My item breaks in to hundreds of parts how to I pick them up?
You don’t that’s the whole point. The parts are set temp rez and will disappear on their own.
Can I use the script in anything I like?
No, the item MUST be modify for you to add the script.
