The < !Worn? > industrial fence set includes several components which can be modified & copied. Each features a detailed and efficient sculpt frame with effective textures to simulate a chain-link security fence with barbed wire lining the top. An operational gate to provide access to your fenced in areas is also included. These components would make an excellent and efficient addition to your build.

We've efficiently modeled a set of industrial security fence components that can be combined & joined to form larger fence structures. Each module (1x, 2x, 3x & 4x) are all only 3 prims each.

All components are COPY permissive so you can rez as many of each part as you'd like, additionally, these components are also mod permissive so you are able to adjust them to suit your individual needs.

The pack includes several parts, listed below..

<!WorN?> 3 Prim Industrial Fence -panel1x
<!WorN?> 3 Prim Industrial Fence -panel2x
<!WorN?> 3 Prim Industrial Fence -panel3x
<!WorN?> 3 Prim Industrial Fence -panel4x
<!WorN?> 3 Prim Industrial Fence -gate

Enjoy!

Helpful Sculptie viewing hints from <?Worn!>

Ever noticed how some sculpts seem to distort when viewed from a certain angle?

Sculpties render in Secondlife with various levels of detail depending on your graphics settings and the distance you are viewing them from. The tecnical term for the value of sculptie detail is called "rendervolumeLODFactor" (or, for our purposes 'LOD' for short).

Lower graphics settings (which are standard for more basic graphics cards) cause sculpts to distort more readily at shorter distances. These settings can be overridden in the 'Advanced' (menu) * -> 'Debug Settings', then entering 'rendervolumeLODFactor' into the field and adjusting the number to a higher setting.

The default viewer setting is a LOD value of 1.0, pushing these settings higher than their standard reccommended values can cause your graphics system to work harder and may cause a drop in framerate performance for lower end graphics systems. If you have a high performace graphics card, settings of 4 for example can greatly improve the way sculpts render on your machine.

* Advanced menu is accessible via the CTRL-ALT-D keyboard shortcut (CTRL-Option-D on a Mac).

I would say that is definitely value for money. The fence looks so realistic and has been the finishing touch to several projects. Great work!

Realistic!

I was quite surprised at how realistic they look. Sculpts done with a tight box, and the door with a quite forgiving script. Can be used (even in a rezzer) at any angle, reset, and works great.
