* Which version should I use?
If you are using the official Second Life Viewer or the latest Firestorm (or other 3rd party viewers) then you CAN see PBR - use the V3[PBR] set.
If you use an old viewer and don't want to update, then you CANNOT see PBR - use the V2[LEGACY] set.

If you get the skill to handle it, it is one of the best sets ever.
You can´t do much wrong with Skye Stuff.
I recently purchase the Sandy Beach Set with for one of my scenes, and I have to say - they were worth the purchase. The sand textures have a lovely and natural design and the waves also come with a lovely realistic look. All in all they are the most realistic set of waves I know in sl so far... Additionally, each of the contents can be edited... for me it is a must be since I work with rezzers intensively ... So great job again, as all of Skye´s stuff :-)
Fantastic! Lovely wave effect
This is SUCH a versatile set, like most Studio Skye products. I really appreciate that this comes with additional textures so you can make other mesh match the set. The built-in wave effect is really nice, and something I miss in a few other sets i've seen.
My absolute favorite part is the terrain blenders it comes with though. They come stock-standard with a texture that matches the Studio Skye rocky terrain pieces, for those of us who use those for terrain building. However, you can also replace the terrain edge with any other solid texture and it just works, perfectly blended over the sand. I don't know HOW they pulled that off, but i'm grateful for the magic. Included is a little snapshot of it in which I used a solid (non-alpha) autumn groundcover texture on the terrain blender, to match the rest of my land.

Just what I needed
One of my favorite things to do is to decorate the inside of my sl home. I've always struggled with landscaping. This set made it easier to create the beach I wanted! You also can't get any more realistic than this. Stunning! Don't believe me, go see for yourself!
