An attention to be make for the future ....
Hi guy's ...
First off all my complements for building such a truck ....
you see such a truck do have 6 places the four sits behind have the numbers (1 & 2) which is the explorerteam - (3 & 4) which is the water-team - 5 is the co-pilot (leader of the intervention - 6 the driver (the one that manage the pump ... the numbers 1 & 3 take pace on the doors and team 1&2 sit behind the co-pilot and 3 & 4 sitting behind the driver ... so if you move the steer the palce on the rear changing too, what means ... you have to change the compartiment of the yellow hoses with the red one too ... the yellow hoses is for the water-team ... i just telling you this as a information how Belgium, Geman, and Dutch trucks and so on are builded in Real life ... every seat has his job in such a truck ...
I did already worked with before buy it, now I can do whenever I want
As I was training to fire extinction at an airport, I had to work with that truck before.
I was totally lost at beginning, because I didnt had the hud, and now I know how have it.
Once done, I can use it. Yes, as it is very complete, I still have a lot and a lot to train and see, but the basis is here, and believe me, it will be fun.
Now I bought it. To be honest, I was looking for another one, but as it was an american truck, I didnt bought it, I really wanted an european one, and for that, we have much less choice. This one, I think it s the best we can have. Thank you for your work. (I still have to find the standpipe, that I found in Trademaster Addon, but I cannot see it on that truck.... but it is in the inventory description). Another thing ( I know, Sombre and HD Emergency are 2 different brands), I wish a day that Sombre items can be used directly on HD Emergency items, as hydrants or so, but... maybe a day? Anyway, thank you for the work and the fun we will have with.
Excellence!!
I've had my Saxon for a while now (and should have reviewed it sooner) and have to say it's one of the most involved and detailed vehicles I own. I originally got it for our ZORT (zombie outbreak response team) collection, but after some time of messing with it, and discovering the metric ton of detailed options, I started to use it for what it's really for...which I kind of kicked myself for not doing that sooner as it turned out to be the door opener to a whole new learning experience of Fire Fighting!
Everything works as one would hope, and I'll add that the tutorials available are spot on and have really helped dial things in, to understand the trucks full dynamics better for me personally. I love the fact it's full mod, and paintable with excellently made templates as with a great working paint applier (major plus!!).
I will say driving took a touch to get used too, but with some fine tuning in the options (of which there are a ton of), I've found it to be a really stable and solid drive.
One more thing to add (before I run out of characters, as I could go on for days about this one lol) The fact it needs maintenance and can break down...I mean, every vehicle should have this!! It takes the sense of immersion even deeper.
I always ask myself when purchasing something (especially vehicles) "would I buy it again?" without hesitation - Yes...and Yes again!
Pure Excellence!
Thanks for this and all that you do..and so looking forwards to whats next!!
Wonderful Truck
This truck has everything one would need for both HD fire fighting and RP needs. Mainly got it to see how much stuff I could take off and strap to random vehicles and was pleasantly surprised by how far I could take that can not recommend this enough if your thinking of getting into HD fire fighting as this tuck has everything you need except for an aerial unit but they have another truck for that.
