The Sombre Saxon is the next generation of Sombre fire appliance. Scripts and equipment have been overhauled from previous vehicles for a realistic, immersive, and fun roleplay experience. Bored of only doing fires? Try Sombre.
This vehicle can extinguish HDFS2 fires, but is not affiliated with HD Emergency in any way.
Based on British and Irish fire appliances from the early 2000s. Carries 1800 litres of water and 130 litres of foam. Contains over 40 unique roleplay items, realistic pump with cavitation, realistic driving with damage and refillable fluids. Comes in RHD and LHD.

This is a proper fire appliance with a full range of fire and rescue equipment (See bottom of listing for a full equipment list). Equipment is accessed through the Sombre Gear HUD which can be used by anyone, even if they don't own the vehicle. Most items are interactive and have some kind of function beyond just holding them.

Vehicle is modify because all good things are. Link / unlink stuff to your hearts content. Most scripts are no-mod with the exception of addons.

Libby has out done themselves with this one. The amount of time and care put into making this the most interaction extensive fire engine available, is astonishing. I do hope to see either back ports of features introduced by this appliance, or even new vehicles not necessarily just more fire or emergency equipment. Keep up the great work Libby!

So ive basically been vibrating in my chair waiting for this truck to release and i probably bought it within 10 minutes of its release and i have to say it surpasses my hype its so good. the new equipment and functionality actually requires care to operate effectively and it really gives the driver/engineer a proper job to do requiring some skill to do so. the driving is absolutely amazing, its very realistic to a truck and there is quite the learning curve to it but once you have it down its so good you can u turn this thing in a small intersection with no trouble at all AND if you just want to keep it simple you can switch it back to a basic driving mode that is super easy to use. the pump operation seems intimidating at first but once you have read the manual its actually quite simple but you need an attentive engineer to operate this properly! its actually super fun and somewhat technical so really train up on it! i can't list all the things i love about this in a single review but just know if you are serious about fire fighting RP and want a realistic EU truck then this will not fail you in my honest opinion. so worth it and i cannot wait to see more! the only other comments i have on it are some gear related things i would like to see in the future like the ability to set chainsaws on the ground and to be able to set attack lines down on the ground too.
