Experience a thrilling new title at your local Arcade from Tokugawa Software! Featuring incredible 16-bit Color Graphics, Sound, and intense Gameplay, Shadow Syndicate is a cyberpunk themed video game set in a dystopian world controlled by mega-corporations and lawless criminal gangs.

This machine is a fully realized arcade title designed exclusively for Second Life, with interactive gameplay and a high quality mesh cabinet with materials and light effects. This game was built from the ground up for SL, and as a result weighs in at a low land impact of just 15 prims. The cabinet also features custom LOD stages to maintain visual fidelity even at very low graphics settings.

The game's content features some stylized violence and gore as you defeat enemies and try to escape.

-- Gameplay:

The gameplay of Shadow Syndicate is simple and straight forward, but designed to be as authentic as possible with completely original sprite graphics, sounds, and music. Simply click the game to begin and follow the instructions printed on the arcade machine below the monitor, as well as the prompts that appear on screen. The game does not have sit-jacking and you can simply cam on it or walk up to the game in first person to begin using it. All you have to do to win the game is click quickly.

This game features a number of graphical animations from titles, introductory text, a game over screen and more. Further details can be found in the User Guide upon purchasing the product.

-- Visuals:

This game features fully animated sprite graphics with a working score counter (please note that the game does not track scores or associate them with avatar names) two weapons, enemies, and a few more surprises that you'll have to play the game to see! All of the sprite graphics have been painstakingly animated to make full use of the available features in SL to create a seamless video game experience.

-- Sound:

This game features a number of sound effects all created to sound authentic and engaging. In addition to SFX, the game features 3 BGM tracks and 2 shorter musical cues that have been written from scratch specifically for Shadow Syndicate. All of the music was written with a Yamaha 3812 VST which was a sound chip used in many arcade machines of the late 80's, in order to sound as true to the era it came from as possible.

-- Extras:

Included with the game are two extras, a promotional wall poster and a paper manual prop that can be rezzed in-world. These extras have no other function than decoration, but were also designed to be authentic to the 80's arcade style.
