<TA>Busy Stand-up Computer Console

This is a role-play item for people who have "going to work" as a part of their daily SL experience. This Stand-up Computer sits three avatars who are working on some sort of technology-based project.

Put your avatars on this and keep them busy while you chat with coworkers and tend to that thing called RL!

The "story" they are acting out is some shared project that uses computers. They talk, discuss, scrum, take breaks, and (of course) wok on their computers.

Role-playing is at the heart of this computer station. When the course of your SL day places your avatars on the job, then, you can pop into your shop and hop on one of the stations.

If you get the vision, then this is for you!

Activating it add 7 more (2 X 2 for laptops + 3 for Sit Shell)

REQUIREMENTS:.

• Avatars and console use most of a 4m X 5m area.

There are also a VERY LONG shared sequence that will keep your avatars working!

UPDATES ETC.:

If we come up with any additions or significant improvements, we'll do a redelivery.!

NOTES:

1. The selected sequence controls all three workers.

2. The animations are fairly unisex in nature, except coffee drinking.

FULL DISCLOSURE:

1. There was no attempt to gradually transition between the poses during the sequence. However, the duration of the poses keeps this from being unpleasant.

2. To hold down the land impact, this build uses our "Sit Shell" method. Hence, to edit the poses inside the "Sit Shell" is not trivial. There is a notecard included with instructions.

3. Most of the poses are standing so they are affected by avatar height (hence, the masc/fem designations). See the ADJUST HEIGHT comments below.

OTHER COMMENTS:

1. If this "almost" works for you, and you have specific requests for changes… ask! No promises, but its always fun to try! If you have ideas as to how THIS can be improved, let us know!

2. If this type product interests you, and you have ideas for something different let us know. Role-play products are becoming the most interesting things we are doing as of now (2023). So, let us know!

ADJUST HEIGHT:

If your avatar is tall, your feet might be in the floor. If you elevate the console, The sit shell will rez higher, too.

1. Raise the console, rez the shell, stand on it. Repeat until you are happy.

2. Edit-linked the console. Select the VERY THIN black base. Change it's thickness until the base touches the ground.

If your avatar is short, your feet might hover. You can only push the console down so far before the shell rezzes underground. If you get to that point, it will require editing the AVpos card inside the Sit Shell. There is a notecard included with instructions.
