WOW
I have had several horse avi's in the past, so of course when the Teegle came out I had to give it a try! I must say I absolutely was not disappointment. The motions are so fluid and smooth, the avi is very customizable and easy to learn, and the creator's and other member's of the Teegle community are the nicest I've met! Overall so so happy with this avi, amazing work all around! <3
Revolutionary, divine and magnific!
This, is possibly the most realistic horse in Second Life, the features are simply amazing, you don't need to buy separated models with high prices to become a arabian horse, or a quarter horse.
But with this horse, in a matter of tweaks in the shape, you can be literally anything, this horse is perfect, there is no need to hesitate buying this avatar, well, this is my first 5k priced avatar too!
Revolutionary... The best Equine Experience in Second Life
I have been in Second Life since 2006 and seen horse avatars from the very beginning, watching as they evolved with time. Simply put, the Teegle Horse is so realistic you won't believe you are still playing Second Life anymore.
Teager has poured so much love, time, and experience into this avatar taking amazing advantage of what Bento has to offer to Second Life. First, I was struck by how accurate this was to a real horse. It is abundantly clear that she has extensive knowledge of horses in real life judging by how the overall body mechanics work. There is so much 'weight' to the movements making the horse look as though it is actually pushing off of the ground with each step, rather than ghosting over the land. As a horse person, I appreciate -so much- seeing a trot that appears to be driven by the hind end propelling the front end. It is incredible to see such attention to detail like that in Second Life. Truly, seeing the horses rear and take the time before going vertical to collect their hind end underneath themselves to re-adjust their center of gravity... very realistic! If you want to see the animations in person before buying I would certainly encourage you to stop by Everest Creek, the Teegle sim, and watch the people wearing horse avatars there to see for yourself, in world, how beautiful these avatars are.
Second thing I wanted to mention is- out of the box- this is the most complete Avatar I have ever purchased. It includes SO much. Rigged tack, a Prim Halter, a very comprehensive Riding System (not enough characters to go into detail on that!), and 4 beautiful textures with marking options and I'm sure there is more I am forgetting. The facial expressions are darling, and the talking animation is incredibly realistic as it moves the brows as well as the lips.
In a nutshell, this changed my Second Life Experience, I am still awestruck at how expressive, realistic, and beautiful this creation is. I cannot recommend it enough.
Simply amazing!
Avatars in Second Life have certainly evolved, and I can say the same for Teager's work. Over the years, she tirelessly churned out avatars for her customers to enjoy, and the more she worked, the better she became. I have never seen an avatar move so fluidly, so realistically before now. In short, I'm simply blown away. The amount of detail put into this avatar, from the tiniest fleck on a texture to the mesh model itself, is overwhelmingly breathtaking! To anyone looking to buy this avatar, please--don't hesitate! It's worth every linden! I dare say that this is the best horse avatar I have had the pleasure of purchasing. Thank you Teager for all your hard work!
The best horse on the grid
I've had pretty much every horse avatar from BC to WH, realhorse to realistek.
This is THE best horse you're going to find for your money. The fluidity in expression, movement, and rider interaction is unsurpassed. Textures look phenomenal and they have an extra body that allows you to use your fav textures from the BC.
Customization? Look no further. Highly moddable shapes, body, and markings are included in the base avatar alone. And the 3rd party market is already flooding with options just one day after release.
Issues you saw with the BC like a shaky riding mechanic or weird head turns and animations stalls, all are gone. New sounds, new animations, new features with the bento rigging.
Worth the 5k? Absolutely and once over. I cannot praise this avatar enough. It is firmly in my top 3 list of all time, and I've been on sl for over 4 years.
Great investment for equine rp!
What an exciting way to welcome Bento to SL than to have such an expressive and fun horse avatar to rock out in!
If you are on the fence about what horse to buy in SL, you will not regret this one. From this base you can make numerous breeds so there is no need to buy different models/avatars that quickly add up.
The features are wonderfully expressive, and for all of it's detail it is surprisingly light weight. With full tack and feathers my avatar still clocked in under 40k complexity(WELL within the 'green'), making this avatar VERY friendly to older computers(like mine).
The saddle system is smooth and so interactive. Again, I have an older computer and I was able to travel through multiple sims without trauma. I tried it out at some crowded Info-Hubs for good measure.
I am exceedingly happy with this avatar and look forward to seeing all the fun things people will create for it and how much folks will mod their own!
