In a class of its own!
I have checked all the luxury homes in SL, and there are two that truly stand out from the rest: the Roma, and the Barcelona, both created by the excellent, helpful, friendly Cain Maven.
I don't have the Roma, because I don't have an entire sim to rez a house. The Roma is just phenomenal and many would say it is the best home in SL.
However, the Barcelona is way better at one thing: giving you open views, with all its balconies. And while smaller, it's already HUGE!
It's also a completely different style. So yes, the Barcelona is the best in its class, and actually alone at this level of quality, style, and size. The Maven Wakefield is similar (balconies), but much smaller.
You get all the facilities you'd expect from a Quantum or Maven home (adjustable window tint, optional door auto-open, security, auto terraforming etc), in a huge home with a bar that looks like a mini-club, another bar by the pool, the pool that goes from inside to outside with a tilting glass door in between, fitted kitchen and bathroom (easy to remove if you want to replace them), loads of huge rooms, a nice multimedia area with web TV, and these incredible balconies on the upper levels. If you are by the sea (this is an ideal beach house), have a few islands off-sim, some waves, some palm trees... it's heavenly!

All prefabs have a hard-headed lookin´(shadow etc...) and a great distribution for all rooms.
