I am proud to present the Tropical Beach Building Set. This set is all about realistically merging green tropical lands to white sand beaches. It allows you to create a rich level of detail which cannot be achieved using just SL terrain.
Gentle waves lap on to the contours of the sloping beach and darken the sand. The sound of waves washing takes you far away.
There are 7 main beach pieces in the set, each includes sand, animated wave and sound - all meshed together for a detailed and realistic effect.
The set is designed for both large scale sim projects and smaller projects too - optimised pieces are included to give you best best prim count/ physics at different sizes.
Physics are accurate so you can walk on the beach sections without falling through or hitting barriers.
In the box:
7 main beach pieces - with mapped animated waves and sound
64 meters - 10 to 13 li (prims) for each beach/ wave section.
or
32 meter - 4 to 6 li for each beach/ wave section.
1 Grassy Outcrop - 1 li (for linked pair)
plus a sea bed section
Note these pieces are optimised to give accurate physics at supplied size and make the best of SL's systems - you can use 32 or 64 meters depending on your scale. Use the size closest to you final size - ie do not use a 32m section scaled up to 64 meters or vice versa.
Please note that size changes to mesh items can result in an increased prim count.

You can mix this with the other beach building set. And it looks perfect. Realistic and easy to do. I have now a truly realistic beach with a forest beside it (Northern Florida like). Wonderful!

I live in tropical island in southeast asia, and i'd say by far this beach set is the most authentic tropical beach set brought to SL. The only minor problem was the wave sound control. Looks like anyone, not just the owner, could turn it on/off. A bit annoying for places with many guests.

This collection of beautiful beach sections are the best foundation for any tropical setting. The sections are precisely made and quite beautiful. They can be quickly and easily laid out while keeping prim use under control. I am hard to please and love to rework my designs. This beach set is so easy to use that it encourages you to discover your best work. COPY/MOD means you are always in control.
