Bienvenue à Valpennac !
Nous sommes en 1705, dernière décennie du règne de Louis XIV, le Roi Soleil, dans la vieille province du Quercy. Sur la rive paisible du Lot, Frédéric, dernier comte de Valpennac, vient juste d'emménager dans son nouveau château.
Quelques années plus tard, sa fille unique, Adrienne, hérite de l'élégante demeure du XVIIIe siècle. Défiant les règles et les traditions, un mariage d'amour et d'argent est célébré à Valpennac, quand la noble, jeune, et très riche Adrienne épouse le jeune et riche rôturier, Jules Lesclapiers. Ensemble, ils vont développer le château et les jardins pour créer le bel endroit que nous pouvons encore visiter aujourd'hui/
Valpennac 1075 est disponible en 2 versions, avec (LI =361) ou sans (LI = 333) cave. Principales caractéristiques :
- le bâtiment est en maillage intégral, les modifications sont donc limitées au retexturage partiel (voir ci-dessous)
- 4 niveaux, 2 étages principaux, 2e étage mansardé, cave en option, 20 pieces au total
- rez-de-chaussée avec vestibule, grand escalier, salle à manger, grand salon, salon de musique, bureau-bibliothèque
- premier étage avec suite royale (antichambre, chambre, cabinet de toilette/bureau), vestibule conduisant à la chambre d'amis et à l'escalier du 2e étage
- 2e étage avec vestibule, 4 chambres et grenier
- cave avec salle pricinpale (ancienne cuisine du château) et 4 celliers
- toutes les pieces principales ont une cheminée (choix par menu pour le feu, les buches)
- toutes les tapisseries des pieces d'habitation peuvent être modifiées, soit par menu (sélection de 22 textures disponible) ou remplacées par des textures de votre choix
- les boiseries blanches et or peuvent être reteintées pour personaliser un peu plus votre décoration
- les planchers sont retexturables
- portes et fenêtres scriptées
- textures originales et matériaux optimisés pour le modèle d'éclairage avancé de Second Life
- le château est vendu non-meublé
- cette version (V1.1) est peut être enneigée pour l'hiver (toits et marches extérieures) via un hud.

A Dream Home
I was not sure at first since I have owned various period builds in SL in the past. Valpennac fulfilled all it promised and more! The chateau is exquisite and the things it offers are easy to handle and very beautiful. Skillful textures and design make this one of the best period homes I have ever seen in SL. I am so glad to call it my home! Bravo, monsieur Silex!
So Magical
I really splurged today and bought the matching stable with this mansion, along with the gardens I'm going to be collecting from this seller. My plot is now a magical, mysterious land but so classy and decadent. Just in awe of this seller's work. Thank you so much!!!

One of the most amazing buildings I have seen in sl. Exceptional craftmanship for the price and really low LI compared to its size and quality. Perfect for historical rp or just to live in. Would give it more starts if I could.
Absolutely Magnificent
Silex and Sean, the two creators at Never Totally Dead have taken their work into a new dimension with this magnificent mansion. Everywhere you turn the level of detail just jumps out at you. From the detail on the columns to the fine detail on the wainscotting, nothing is overlooked. The house is special in many ways. And it deserves care and attention when placing it on your property. If at all possible, buy all of the extras and make it the special place that it deserves to be. Absolutely magnificent!

I like to collect mansions and castles so i have quite a few in my inventory, this is my favorite so far. If you like old european architecture then this build is for you.
it does have some minor issues with lods that you can fix yourself for the most part by altering the lod debug settings.
Friendly creator who will go out of his way to make it work for you, with the easy change through a hud from summer to winter season, i will no doubt keep this one up on my sim for a long time.

Very well made, lots of detail, many options, just a pleasure to explore.
Make sure you go see it inworld, not just to see it before buying but because there are also many other buildings for sale that are not (yet) on marketplace.
