[WaS] Corrade: Avatar Shape Gender Detector Version 1.0
⤷ Good day! ⤶
This is an example harness for the Corrade bot that can can detect the gender of avatars in a region. To use, first rez the box and edit the "configuration" notecard to set the options. After that, the script will attempt to detect the presence of your bot and will start scanning the current region for avatars.
Please note that your gender in Second Life is given by the gender of the shape you are wearing. There are many false-positives to be expected where, for example, a person uses a furry, a robot or an animal as avatar; or any other creation where no clear perceptual distinction can be made on whether that avatar is either female or male. Nevertheless, avatars in Linden Labs' terms can only be either male or female which depends on the compulsory shape that they avatars have to wear in order to be rendered in Second Life.
The harness is created by Wizardry and Steamworks as an example for creating a bot that is capable of detecting the gender of an avatar by using Corrade's data functions. You are free to use this script with Corrade on any grid provided you abide by the GNU/GPLv3 license (https://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html).
For more information on the Corrade bot and how to get it to run, please see the documentation at:
