WindCompass Light

Hello,
thank you for considering the WindCompass.
WindCompass is designed to hold many relevant sail info compact in one place.
As such there is heading (HDG), winddirection, windspeed, boatspeed, True Wind Angle (TWA),
Apparent Wind Angle (AWA), Velocity Made Good (VMG)
● Based on AWA and boat performance, WindCompass shows the red "No go" zone and
other zones where the use of spinnaker, gennaker, winged jib and even hydrofoils are effective.
The TWA is shown by a black and the AWA by a yellow pointer.
● Racers can get Racewind and also get the boat to aquire racewind by just a click. Cruisers set wind
by click on the compass or by gesture based shortcuts. Boss and BWind systems are supported.
If Skipper and Crew using a WindCompass, the skipper can sync the crews one.
● A SLSA RaceTimer shows a countdown from the startline. Its compatible to Lailas new startline.
● The Boat AutoSelect function loads the correct settings for the boat, once you sit on a supported boat.
● Trim Hints - For most Bandit and TMS boats there are colored numbers on the outer ring helping to trim
the mainsail. These colored numbers suggest, what number to trim the mainsail to.
● Sail with sailors point of view! WindCompass keeps the directions in mouselook. No Calibration needed.
● You get Visual-, Chat- and Sound-feedbacks for nearly all functions.
● Change Appearance, Textcolor, Alpha, Size, Sound, Display, Behavior, Buttons and more...

An easy 'must have' recommend.
I use the Pro version but have recommended or bought this for a few people. It makes for a lovely aid to get new-comers to get to grips with that information that you're pouring into their heads :)
A great visual aid, the gesture reading function or wind override is great for them too, there enough for them to be busy with as it is, than having to remember what commands they can type. The continual upgrades and support are 10/10, the latest model boats being added is proof of this. As I've said on a similar product, we don't have the wind in our face or the physical motion under our feet, so this helps regain that control and awareness.
