Wingsong Holodeck: Fractals Box

The Wingsong Holodeck series are completely out of this world. Really!

The design of each of these holodecks is simple, low lag, low prim and beyond beautiful. You will spend hours in your microcostic worlds and feel as if you are traveling through infinity, and yet you never leave the comfort and safety of your own sim or estate.

The Wingsong Holodeck - Fractals is a state of the art microcosm that puts you and your visitors into a large room sort of like what one might find if one were inside a kaleidoscope. Facing one vortex out of which the world seems to be emerging with your back to another vortex where that world seems to be slipping into, you may well feel yourself being carried into infinity. No, you don't really go anywhere. You just FEEL like you do. You know, like a holodeck!

People who have helped me test drive this love it! They tell me they've never seen anything like it anywhere. They tell me it is one of the most spectacular things to come to Second Life. They tell me I'm brilliant.

I'm lying about that last part.

Nonetheless, this holodeck is totally mesmerizing and engaging!

FEATURES

1 - The globe has a slow, relaxing texture animation engine in it that gives a very realistic impression of actual travel through space and time. Click on the globe to access one of 20 preinstalled fractals for you to enjoy. You can also easily add your own (up to a total of 22) by dragging textures from your inventory into the globe's Content Tab through the Edit tool. Click on the floor to access a menu for 5 textures; you can add additional ones as well (total 22 textures allowed).

2 - To keep folks from falling out of their world, I have not checked the PHANTOM feature in the Edit tool. I found that placing my Wingsong Holodecks in space with teleporters (not included in this package) was more convenient.

3 - The globe is sized at 40 x 40 x 40. The floor is sized at 40 x 40 x 0.01. These can easily be resized down to VERY tiny, and up to 64 using your STRETCH feature in your Edit Tool. When resizing, be sure to use the EDIT LINK feature and resize only the globe and the floor. The linked chairs and pillows won't fit properly if you resize them.

4 - The two linked chairs and meditation pillows embedded with authentic original Wingsong animations for your comfort and relaxation. To sit Click on a chair/pillow and sit. The pillows are quasi synced, which means at first you and whoever is meditating with you will be in sync but you will each eventually follow your own rhythm. Just like in real life.

5 - Because my Wingsong Holodecks are designed with a commitment for low prim usage without the use of rezzers, you can easily set out more than one (we make a whole line of holodecks available at our Marketplace store). I generally keep three or four holodecks stacked on top of one another way above the dojo. To visit them, come by the dojo and take the taxi teleporter located just to your left on the front deck.

To use, REZ out your Wingsong Holodeck: Fractals. That's it! Of course, you can rez out additional seating for other visitors. Note - When you are first setting it up you may need to pan your camera into the globe and sit in your chair to get inside. Or you can set it to PHANTOM and just walk into it, but you'll need to put a nonphantom platform at about the level of the floor unless you place a teleporter inside.

BONUSES:

1 - Wingsong Meditation Pillow - Burgundy: A single one prim pillow. Not synced with anyone else. Just a great little pillow with an original high quality Wingsong meditation animation embedded in it.

2 - Wingsong Chair - Space B: At a mere 2 prims, these gorgeous little chairs are very comfortable. Embedded with original Wingsong animation for comfort.

3 - Wingsong Meditating Pillow - Group of 12: A set of 12 quasi synced pillows that you can set out for large gatherings. For the most part all members of your group will meditate together though with time some of you may veer into your own rhythm. Each pillow is one prim. You may recolor these but do not change their rotation.

4 - A couple of original Wingsong Deck Chairs: they are each embedded with a separate original Wingsong animation for maximum comfort. Each chair is 4 prims, and can be retextured to your own specs.

Everything here is COPY/MOD so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make it fit YOUR specs! I'm even throwing in a FREE Wingsong Modify Box, a simple, easy to use tutorial for folks with little experience in the EDIT tool.
