Unfortunately, there will no longer be significant updates to the ship due to the various limitations within SL; namely the 4000 prim-count limit of unlinked objects, and homestead region prim counts. I am very happy with the current state of the ship and will continue to provide small updates that focus on visual improvements and functionality.

The RMS Titanic has come to Second Life! This is an *extremely* detailed & historically accurate to-scale mesh model of the RMS Titanic. Every railing, every lifeboat, every window is placed and designed exactly the same as it was on the real Titanic.
90% of this ship is mesh, and the rest is normal prims (no dreaded sculpties!). This ship was created in Maya over a period of 8 months, and took several more months to bring to life in Second Life.
Features of the Ship
------------------------
HUD Controlled Features:
-Livery - The Titanic had 2 other sister ships, Britannic and Olympic, I included the option to change the ships paint scheme to these other ships. Britannic was a hospital ship and has a hospital ship livery, and Olympic was a troop ship for a short time, and has a Dazzle Camoflauge paint scheme. And ofcourse, the original Titanic paint scheme is included.
-Lights - I put a lot of effort into putting good lighting effects on the ship - every porthole, every window, has its own lighting effect. For best effect, view at night.
-Morse Lamps - These are the two small lamps on the bridge wings, which can be activated and will flash sending morse signals when in distress.
-Smoke - this is the option to enable/disable the smoke emitting from the smokestacks.
-Steam - this lets you enable venting steam coming from the funnels (caution: very loud!)
Other Details and Features
--------------------------------
-An extremely accurate model of the Titanic, to scale.
-Grand Staircase (Currently boat deck + A deck, B deck)
-Controlable Lifeboat Covers
-Very High Detail Mesh & LODs
-Custom HD Textures
-Low Prim Count for the huge amount of detail

I purchased this product in March of 2012 and so far the creator has failed to produce any significant updates to it, contrary to what he writes in his product description, I do not believe that any of the planned features will ever come to fruition nor does he intend to continue servicing this product. It was a waste of my money because I paid for promised features that will never come.
Beautiful ship
It's an amazing creation, clearly a labor of love, very detailed and we enjoy it very much. Excellent!
the textures are poor and ship is empty inside
Keep your money and look for some other release, because textures are poor and ship is empty and when you look inside you dont have walls or anything. if you want see before buy ask me and i show. if i could i would take my money back.
Very Nice Ship.
I bought this because I've always been interested in the Titanic. However, I really would love to see more rooms added. :S Although I can say that the ceilings are too low.
Amazing!!!!
I've been waiting so long to be able to afford this ship! I really don't care if I have no place but a sandbox to rez it in for a couple of hours! It's great! I am so excited about the 3 paint schemes for the Titanic, Britannic, and Olympic! I have one issue though about the color schemes. The Titanic color scheme is perfectly accurate, however for the Britannic version, the funnels were painted all orange without the black part at the top, they were painted all orange. And for Olympic, the Dazzle Camoflauge came up on the exterior walls on the boat deck as well as on the funnels, but in this version, the walls on the boat deck are white and the funnels are still the titanic scheme. I might suggest you fix these before you release your next update. Other little glitches or items absent are the bow hawse hole, which each ship had on the front crease, this was used for mooring and such, and then really the only other fault I found was the statue on the grand staircase isn't there. The only thing I have to complain about is the door height, some avatars are too tall to get inside like the grand staircase. However, I feel that might be too difficult to do in a single update, I might suggest merely raising the tops of the grand staircase doors a tiny bit to allow taller avis to enter, but the way they are now is historically accurate, those people were short back then! lol. I am looking forward to more updates. I am really really hoping that one of the updates will bring more rooms, public rooms like saloons and such, but I am really really hoping for there to be passenger staterooms, if there are cabins added, and enough are made, I will use this ship as a club or a hotel, or even just a community for people to rent staterooms in to live in! I'd be willing to sacrifice my homestead to rez this and rent rooms out! Please update soon with more rooms and features, because since its impossible to walk the decks of Titanic in RL, you may as well be able to in SL!!!!
