OVERVIEW:
Boom. Headshot. When you need pinpoint accuracy at extreme range, the M24A2 is your man. This puppy can put round after round through a zombie's eye socket from a thousand meters out. Though that first bullet was probably sufficient.
BACK STORY:
"There I was, totally surrounded, then bodies just start hitting the ground. Before I could tell what was happening, I was standing in a circle of corpses. Turns out Teacher had been up on the hill with his rifle, and saw the mess I got into. He must have been 300 yards away, and never missed a shot."
CONTROLS
Weapon uses standard mouselook controls with arrow keys. The rifle is effectively semi-automatic, however there is a delay while the operator cycles the bolt. Magazine capacity is ten rounds. Upon emptying the magazine, click again to reload, or use the reload gesture. You'll also need to reload in order to swap ammo types.
Accuracy is hindered while moving, so stand still to take your shots. Using the bipod will maximize accuracy, however the bipod can only be used while standing still and will automatically fold up when moving. Operators also have the option to go prone, minimizing their visibility. Going prone automatically turns on the bipod. Moving in prone will force you to stand back up.
GESTURES
The M24A2 is a primary weapon. Using the included gestures, it's mapped to the 1 key. If used with a secondary weapon (such as the P87 SSP), pressing 1 will automatically safe the secondary weapon and deploy the primary weapon. CTL S to safe (using included gestures.) Gestures may be modified to use this weapon-swapping functionality with any secondary weapon.
Also included are gestures for using the bipod and prone. The bipod is mapped to 'End' and prone is mapped to 'Shift + End.'
HUD
Included with the M24A2 is a HUD and reticle. The reticle is a simple visual aid that can be used to help compensate for bullet drop or elevation. The HUD features a silhouette of the M24A2 that corresponds with the currently equipped features, namely the bipod and suppressor. It's useful for keeping track of your attachments without having to leave mouselook.

No Service.
The creators took great pains to ask customers, upon delivery of a purchased item, to try and resolve any issues with them before leaving a negative review.
I did exactly that. It's been a week: no response.
If you look at the creator profile, you'll see that they've basically abandoned this product. It's a beautiful product, but with out support, it's a beautiful waste.
No mod, no resizing...if your preference is for an avatar any size -other- than what the creator imagined when making this thing, you're S.O.L.
Beware if you are not tall
I was in the market for a rifle, saw this and thought I give it a try. While the build looks very good I was quickly disappointed to find it was over sized for a 5'5 female and in the prone position things were worse. In prone position my body would be mostly underground. Also, because of the position of the arms with the animation in order to have the rifle line up ok and my finger on the trigger I would have the scope buried in my eye socket. I talked with the maker and he said they hope to have animations for people of other sizes, but there are other things in the works first. So there is no idea when or even if this will be corrected. If I get a fixed version I will re-review this, but as it is I have something of no use to me now and a waste of money.
Amazing
Works wonderful looks wonderful and is wonderful.
Damn good!
I have to state that sniper rifles are a very uncommonly used type of weapon in the SLMC unless they either have an explicit explosive round, or are just as spammy as an LMG. The majority of conflict boils down to who has the most stupidly laser beam weapon or what fires the most explosives in as short a time as possible. However, if someone conceals themselves well enough to put this firearm to use, and actually bothers to function as a sniper rather than Rambo, then you can get a damn good number of kills. Personally, I feel this works best if you can get up somewhere relatively high and have a wide view while not being *too* exposed... and seeing as how it's single-shot, you'll likely want to use the exceptional raycast bullet mode. It won't go across sims, and it only reaches to about 200 meters, but in most military sims this is more than enough to resolve issues. Fantastic animations, great gun functionality, looks beautiful, and works for roleplay if you ever need a sniper rifle for such. Oh yeah, also once again doesn't contribute to sim lag much.
Satisfieded.
After purchasing the product, i had a minor glitch with the animations.
but as soon as i reported that glitch, i got an IM from the creator, he re-created the animations from scrap and after less than 20 minutes, i got the M24's Animations...Fixed!
Could'nt be anymore happy with this purchase.
I highly recommend this sniper rifle to anyone who's looking for one.
High quality mesh,body,sounds,And scripts!
Not to mention..Wonderful customer support!
Great work
Solid set of anims, solid set of skins, and honestly for 400L I would bet anyone you won't find a better bang for your buck.
