Introduction
==============================
The Z&A Random Object Thrower is a silly little thing designed to... well, as the name suggests, throw random objects. It started life as a simple prop for a Raven Park dance, where we wanted random things thrown at a stage (see http://zandaproductions.blogspot.com/2017/08/lockstock-2017.html to help that make sense). Having got a version of the script going it seemed to make sense to tidy it up, make it more generic and share the fun.
So here it is. I hope you have fun with it.
Setting up
==============================
1. Rez out the object called "Z&A Random Object Thrower".
2. Point the arrows in the general direction that you want things thrown in.
3. Wait and watch as random things get thrown.
Now... that's likely not quite what you want. The object comes with a collection of sample objects inside it but you'll really want your own choice of objects thrown. That's easy enough to fix. Edit the "Z&A Random Object Thrower", delete all the objects inside it (but not the script, obviously), and then drop your own objects inside it.
But, before you do... THIS PART IS REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Make sure that the objects you drop are set to be temporary and physical. You want them physical so they can be thrown about. You want them temporary so that they don't litter up your plot/region and use up all your prims.
Did I mention that THAT PART IS REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!?
Really. It's really important. I'm not kidding.
And that's it really. :)
More Setting up
==============================
Okay, that's not quite it. Inside the object you'll also find a notecard called "Configuration". If you want to really tweak how the thrower works you can modify values inside that to make it "just so". Take a look at it, I think it should be self-explanatory.
See item in Second Life- Rezzes and throws random objects
- Easy to set up
- Likely totally pointless
- But, hey, it was fun to make!
