All my creations are an original one of a kind blend of hand painted and digital art techniques. The process of creating these pieces can take many hours. First the idea is drawn on paper, than realized in 3D. After that it is than hand and digitally painted. Once finished it is than uploaded into SL where mats, frames, animations and different objects are created and added to finish the piece. All the animations used are mine and created specifically for that specific art piece.
The Intervrtive series evolved from my desire to meld you, the observer, to the art itself. In this series you and your avatar actually complete the piece. The painting is not finished until your avatar becomes a part of it by clicking on the rocks, feathers, ladders and other objects in your painting. As your avatar “sits" on the work, the painting has reached it’s “finished” state by the participation and interaction between you, behind your computer screen, your avatar and the piece itself.
In RL I am a fine artist. I usually do children's portraits and have pieces around the world. I love oil on linen and that is my primary medium. In SL I create a lot of interactive and sometimes dark pieces. You’re invited to im me anytime to see my work.
All my pieces are serious Secondlife art works and are a distinctive addition to your SL home. All works have been approved by the Legal Quality Art Group, a group created in SL that insures SL art is held to the highest standards of the field.
Shadows are normally included separately with all my art pieces for your convenience, but in CrossRoads the shadows are a part of the piece.
