An easy to use, 30 page tutorial on how to make alpha masks from scratch using Gimp.
This tutorial board can be rezzed and resized (yes, it says no mod, but it really is resizable), and can be used by multiple people, not just the owner. After ten minutes without use, it will reset back to the first page, so it can be easily displayed in a public sandbox environment. The board itself has a Land Impact of only only two prims, so it can even be displayed in a limited prim sandbox area. :)
Handy web links, extra instructions and UV textures are provided in the supply box, which is inside the tutorial board.
