The lights lit automatically when it gets darker and will unlit when the sun comes up.
The street lights are 100% mesh.
ATTENTION
For a good performance to see mesh items also from a bit of a distance Please set your RenderVolumeLodfactor on at least 4. Preferable is to set it on 4 or higher..
You do that in the ADVANCED MENU (Ctrl Alt D). Go to debug settings. Fill in the box RenderVolumeLodFactor and change the number into 4
