This script has the vector rotation set to rotate a cylinder or platform in a counterclockwise motion (horizontally). Changing the values can change the speed and direction. No sound is scripted. Owner controlled only.

This script has the vector rotation set to rotate a prim in a forward/vertical motion. Changing the values can change the speed and direction. Sound is scripted. Owner controlled only.
These scripts will allow you to have one or more independently rotating or spinning prims in a linkset, without moving the other prims. One with and one without sounds needed. Could remove owner restriction with some scripting modification.

Not independant
it works till linked then both prims rotate, does not work independently;
Works Fine.. Untll you link it.
Linking to another prim seems to throw the rotation vector off.
