The MHS Donation Jar is a beautiful 2-prim tip jar that will give people a token of your appreciation when they donate a preconfigured amount of L$... an 11-prim Sculpted Rose! By default, a red rose is given for any tip at or above 10L. But any one of six colors is configurable, and at any Linden threshold that you desire.

After accepting the prompt to receive the rose, the recipient can right-click it in his/her inventory and select "Wear" to hold it in the right hand. And of course, the rose is transferable, so it can be given to a special someone!

For a truly elegant effect, a rotating model of the same rose is temp-on-rezzed in the jar for all to see. Temp-on-rez means it will not consume any of your land's precious prim count.

If someone clicks the jar, a tickler message is whispered. This message can be anything you desire (more on this below). Another pleasantry is that upon tipping ANY amount (1L on up), any one of six supplied sound objects (or any of your own) can be played at the desired volume.

FEATURES:

* Enhanced config notecard facilitating numerous customizations.
* A sculpted rose available in six colors: red, white, yellow, pink, purple, and black.
* Accepts any number of your own sound objects that are played when someone tips into the jar. A variety of sounds are installed and ready to use.
* Tip sharing to any number of associates.
* Employee login ability.
* Give your assistants access by adding them to your MHS Jar Operators notecard.
* Multiple display modes in hover text!
* Customize the whispered message when someone clicks a jar.
* Free lifetime updates provided at the click of a button.
* TipTracer™ logging system (optional, fee-based tip tracking service): Debuted in February 2008, this system stores information on all tips collected (i.e., who, what, where, and when) to a web-based server for offline analysis. This is an invaluable tool for serious club owners and performers to monitor and analyze their tip income. (Refer to attached images for sample views.)

NOTE: If you own a business, then consider the Copyable version. In that package you are provided copyable Reseller Vendors for both the No-Copy and Copy versions with a 20% commission for all sales made!

A full discussion of all the features provided by the new MHS Donation Jar v2.1 cannot be packed into this one web page. A thorough overview, complete with illustrations, is discussed on the web:

So what follows is a brief overview:

TWO CONFIGURATION CARDS:

1) A notecard named "MHS Jar Config" provides default values when the jar is first rezzed or reset. The supplied notecard has sufficient commenting to assist you in understanding how it works. For indepth info, refer to the above web site (I'll be repeating this line several times).

2) There is another notecard that the MHS Donation Jar will read, and that is one for holding operators. It is called "MHS Jar Operators" and is optional. If it's not in the jar's inventory, then only you (the owner) will have access to the blue options dialog. But if you're a club owner with assistants, or have a trusted partner, you can configure the jar to allow them limited access to a variety of blue options dialog. Simply include a list of the people to include (enter their SecondLife names, NOT their avatar key values) in this notecard.

CHOOSE FROM SIX SOUND RESPONSES (or add your own!):

The MHS Donation Jar comes 'factory-equipped' with a variety of sound files ("Boop-Oop-A-Doop" -- a nostalgic carryover from prior versions -- is still on the list... we'll never let that one go!). You can also add any number of your own sound files. Keep their names short, because the names are used as button titles (which Linden limits to 12 chars in length). For instance, if you have a sound file named "Incredible Firecrackers", better to rename it to "Firecracker", or even "Boom". Be creative!

DIALOG OPTIONS WHEN JAR IS CLICKED:

When anyone left-clicks the jar, a "tickler message" is whispered. But if you (or your designated operators) click the jar, a blue dialog will also appear in the upper right corner. Basic information such as the version number, tip threshold for someone to receive a rose, and the current sound and volume is reported. The first button ("Admin") is available only to you. All other buttons will be accessible by any person whose name you put in the MHS Operators notecard. Go to above-mentioned website for details!

Golly! All these features for a silly tip jar! (Trust me... you'll love it!)

The MHS Donation Jar is also available in a Copyable version.
