Classic and infamous Italian style automatic knife, also known by the moniker "Stiletto". Typically used by Mafioso and desperados to 'tickle the ribs' of those in the wrong place at the wrong time.
You can wear this baby just like any other avatar attachment, it's fully scripted to snap open and closed just like the real thing, replete with sound effects; a touch to the blade toggles the action, just don't forget to watch your fingers ;)

Great product, works as intended
As many people have written before, I was a bit disappointed at first because I couldn't get the knife to work for the life of me, but upon reading some of the other reviews, turns out you just need to click the button at the tip of the handle for the knife to work.

The Perfect Italian Stiletto - It Pays For Itself!
I roleplay a bully kid and there's no knife more iconic to European bullies than the classic Italian stiletto, its as iconic as an AK47 to a developing nation guerrillas.
Out of the box this knife is oversized, but wait! if you rez it and Stretch it right down to the minimal size it will go, you will have a knife almost exactly 23 centimeters/9' in its opened state, the exact size of the most commonly sold version. If you prefer the second most commonly sold size, place it in opened state on a prim 29cm/11' across and size it to that, point to pommel. If you're a teen go with the 9', if you're an adult to reasonable proportions, the 11' might be better.
The woodgrain is authentic, but I used Select Face and set it to Black & Low Shiny, because in our neck of the woods the ultimate iconic stiletto was black plastic handled, the somewhat cheaper version. Doing this, all buttons, slides etc retained their correct colors.
I redid the script so that it would open and close on /1command so that the knife can be flicked readily and without any warning but the telltale "click!", the street teen equivalent of a shotgun racking.
The knife looks as good to the real thing as it gets in SL, I am really fond of it. What it doesnt have is knife attack animations, but I don't need those and if I did, its easily improvised as its Copy Mod.
I joked that it pays for itself because it helped me relieve many a dork of the contents of their pockets in (mutually enjoyable) RP :)

Works fine, better with some tweaking
This item works and does indeed have scripts; they're located in the blade of the knife, not the hilt/handle, which means you won't see them upon first selecting it. The default ones work fine, you just have to make sure to click on the blade itself (or the finger guard, technically) to release it. The script included is full perm and it doesn't take a huge effort to change it to a keybind if you know what you're doing.
