AVRADOM livery for the D-690
On Jul. 1, 1977, in compliance with AMARC recommendations, the R&D components of AVSCOM evolved into the U.S. Army Aviation Research and Development Command (AVRADOM).
AVRADCOM’s basic mission was to manage and control the Army’s aviation materiel development and the initial acquisition portion of the aviation materiel life cycle.
