Or you can simply use the Hud feature by simply click item to wear in your inventory... Then u will see the book and its beautiful pages on your screen for some good private reading.

If you Rez in world first, the book will appear small, that is its default setting, but you can adjust the size to your liking by clicking on the edge of the book and use the pop up menu to adjust.

You can also use the pop up menu, through out the book, regardless if you have it inworld or using the Hud.
