This script is designed to help you create a climbable ladder or rope. When an avatar sits on your rope or ladder they will gradually climb until they are at the top and then automatically unsit. This script will not allow you to climb back down.
Also included is a full permission climbing animation aswell as a full permission ladder sculpt map.

Thank you. Works great. I did as others suggested, attached it to an invisible prim then linked it to my ladder.
Wish I could find one that allows someone to climb down too but this will do. :)
It *DOES* work...
Just be aware it's not a drag and drop in a simple prim/object type script. You need to make sure you have a prim that is oriented the correct way on the XYZ axis. Easiest way is to make a prim, drop the script/animation in contents, and test it. Once you have it right, make the prim transparent and move it to wherever you need it (also it helps to set the "Click to:" on the invisiprim to "Sit on Object"). Works great!
not what i thought
I expected this to actually make my avatar climb up the ladder - instead it made her make the motions of climbing but only climb and stay in one spot. Not what I expected. 3 stars because its a good animation in general but does not make avatar actually climb up.

because the script is no mod you can not link it and cant add it to your creations for sale, you can only use it at home

i was working on a roleplay 1/2 sim and just looking for something like this seemed like just the thing i was looking for :p and it is just perfect for wat i'm working on
