Talking Jesus Statue Versão 1

This is a mesh statue of Jesus that "speaks" quotes from the Gospels when touched. It will be a beautiful addition to your SL home, sim, or church, and the messages may inspire you or your guests with the words of the Savior.

There are 74 quotes, taken from the four Gospels. (Due to LSL limitations, each is no more than 255 characters in length.) When a user clicks on the statue, the quote is displayed in local chat.

Because this is a MESH object, its land impact will change if you resize it. It comes out of the box approximately the size of a SL avatar, and at this size the Land Impact is 14. (The mesh object on which it is based was smaller, and its original LI was 8. A tabletop size would have even less impact, a larger statue more.)

If you would like a devotional object that displays the same quotes but has a LI of 1, please look for our "Jesus Said" ICON at our in-world or Marketplace store. However, the icons (if they are to be realistic) require a wall to hang on, whereas the statue can stand in the landscape of your sim, which is where visitors are more likely to be.

This item is Modify/Copy/no-Transfer. As it is based on another creator's mesh original, it cannot be licensed for adaptation or resale.

INSPIRATION

The inspiration for both this and our talking icons was a "talking Buddha" statue that we found on a sim, which "spoke" quotes from the Buddha when touched. While we are not Buddhist, we found many of these quite edifying, but also thought "Wait....why not Jesus?" We have seen the Buddha statues on a number of sims, and hope that sim owners will find a place for Jesus as well!
