What is a Hatchling?
-----------------------
Hatchling are pets, pets that are a revolution in SecondLife. Not only do you get to name it and choose from a large variety of models according to your preferences, you also get to take care of it and watch it grow! Attach it to any part of your body you wish and you can start having fun with it <3

Every Hatchling starts as an egg, a egg that will eventually hatch into a baby, a baby that will become a child, to finally become an adult! Although, Hatchlings have needs like You and I. They need to be fed, need to be played with, put to sleep and of course, loved.

To its early ages, your Hatchling will require a close watch from you. Babys needs lots of attention after all! But as it grows, you will need to take care of it less and less, until you reach to a point where, feeding it once per hour or 2 will be enought =)

Hatchling are also very alive =) Their facial expression will change according to its mood. Also, it will generate particles from time to time to attract your attention. Sometime, it'll be to just remind you how much it loves you <3 else, it can be a chat bubble saying Hey! You forgot to feed me!

How do I take care of my Hatchling?

I won't go into too much detail here. The hatchling comes with an instruction guide explaining you what to do =) What I can tell you however is this.

The Hatchling is very simple to use. Clicking on it will make a menu appear containing all the informations you need to know, such as health, age, name, hunger level, sleep level, play level.. etc.

You just need the feed button if you want to feed it, sleep button if you want to put it to sleep, give love if you want to give love.. and so on. Its that simple =)

What happens if I do not take care of it?

It will die. Yes, Hatchling can dies if neglected. Even a healthy Hatchling will eventually die, but the better you take care of it, the longest it will last. Hatchlings age every 1:30 Hours, when you are In world and wearing them of course. Ive seen some Hatchlings live up to 40 years! If you are a good parent, You can expect them to live for a very long time when lucky =)

How long does it take for each evolutions?

Haha! secret! Although, it takes around 12 Hours In-World to reach adulthood.

My Hatchling just died! Must I buy another one?

Of course not. There is a reset button to start all over again when a Hatchling passes away.

I like my hatchling! I dont want it to die!

No problem, if you really want to keep your hatchling. You can simply remove the script and turn it into a cute fashion accessory! Hatchlings are MOD/COPY so you can have both a living Hatchling and an accessory one.
