Wroght Iron & Stone Mesh Fence Set - Full Perm
Set of Stone/Brick Columns and Wrought Iron Fences in new and bent conditions. Suitable for Mansions, gardens, haunted houses and cemeteries depending the textures you use. The meshes have faces and will take textures direct, no UV map.
There are two set here - one with straight staved wrought iron, and the other has staves that has been bent out of place.
All Pieces are .5LI except for the acorn plinth which is 1LI.
I made these for my the cemetery in Botanica's annual Halloween event and saved 6 prims from the sculpted model I had used in previous years.
Long fence (10M) 1m Col .5LI + Fencing .5LI = 1 prim
Short Fences (5M) Col & Fence = .5Li
Stone wall or added base to make fence higher .5LI
Half gates .5Li ea
2x2 Plinth .5LI
2x2 Acorn Plinth 1LI
Some of the plinths will have hinges for the gates. If you do not need these turn them invisible.

Veja o item no Second LifeInitialy I was thrilled with this set
However, when I started to texture it, all pleased went away. The 'fence' part which I had tested initially went okay. Not what I had hoped for (The plinth I felt the acorn should have had its own face. But, no big, changed to the other column, would add my own light sections to the gates. Another few LI but, I could deal.)
Built the enclosure then went to texture. The faces are not what one would anticipate. The 'fancy' frame about the column shares a face with one of the faces of the column. Then there are two more faces on that specific column however, while I am fairly good at manipulating the textures to get them to line up and look good. There is no way I could find to get this to look... natural, or even passable.
So, more or less, the only thing I feel can be salvaged is the wrought iron. The gate perhaps, but that is not why I purchased it. I am disappointed and certainly would not purchase this again, nor would I suggest it to someone to purchase. I left 3 stars, because for the price, I imagine you could find a texture which would work with it. But, I don't suggest bricks. (Which maybe if I hadn't been using a marble like texture initially I would've noticed this sooner? Unfortunately, my application calls for bricks.)
Regardless, when selling full perm mesh, without potential of demo, I would anticipate, if one wasn't using the usual faces, they would mention that. I know nothing about creating mesh. I do know, in the future I'll be asking for face designations before purchasing if it's something I'm relying on for good builds.
