A script to make the glow blink on your prim, pretty basic, oh and its free
Definitely a Flicker and not a Blink
The title of product is more accurate than the description. This script causes the fullbright and glow of the object to adjust intermittently, creating a flickering effect (such as you'd see on a broken neon or florescent).
This script isn't hiding anything. It's completely modifiable. But it also isn't going to teach you anything about how it works. There are no notes that accompany the script or notes written within the script that tell you anything about how to adjust the flicker.
I basically went in with a hammer and just started beating the different number values around. I found that modifying the three different llFrand values (which I have no idea what they mean) I was able to customize the duration and speed of the flickering effect.
The effect is pretty much exactly what I was hoping for, but I can understand how others, hoping for a blinking effect, would be disappointed. Best of luck to all of you!
