Put the script in your object.
Full bright will be sensitive to the presence of an avatar.
You can adjust the sensitivity distance.

The script is straightforward and simple to adjust. I needed a script that only changed the object to full bright when being sat upon. I reduced the distance in the script to 0.1 m and it worked perfectly!
