*full perm, because no modify on sculpt map not influence permissions of object, not yours, not next owner.
Description:
Sculpt and mesh version of Victorian windows.
Both versions uses ANY textures you have in inventory, purchased on market or upload from net. No need any backing, UV etc, textures, they even not exists for current item. But of course there are a reason to place both versions.
Sculpt is great work on huge distances as it stay the same shape without reducing any details, but have no glass and can use only 1 texture,
Mesh version can use 4 textures, (3 for window frame, setting some 100% gives you option of window without middle planks, 1 for glass). Glass is relative naming, You can use any glass texture, or just use any solid even blank texture and set transparency at 40% for example. Mesh version looses details depends on distances, so works great for close areas. Unlike many other meshes in SL this one will not become mess on distance but it shape will greatly simplify, so only general name of window can be used fort far and farthest distances. Every LOD made custom. Mesh as well uses simple flat plane physics, This means it may uses in prim linksets as well as in convex hull linksets. Mesh version stays 0.6LI at current size, it means two linked mesh windows will take 1 prim from yours land. But if you resize mesh window to 64meters size for example it will take 21 prim. That is a reason for a sculpt version to use when mesh takes more then sculpt with additional prim for glass.
While mesh version comes already as object, Sculpt version requires to be build, For yours convinience inside package creator's script included:
1. Create prim.
2. Drag and drop script from yours inventory on to prim. Done.
Script did it work and auto-delete itself, no need to be worry about removing it.
Caveats for mesh:
* Mesh , so it requires MESH enabled viewer to operate with;
- Creator name (Silk Aeon) you CANNOT change. It is how any MESH item works in SL. Create prim and link this mesh to prim (prim must be root ). It is important yours customers/users not leaked to me with their questions that I may not know due of changes you made;
** If you link this mesh or add script to it, number of prims taken from land (LI) CAN and WILL decrease/increase. This is how SL works. If mesh version takes too much prims, use sculpt version instead.;
- You cannot export model using this mesh to yours HDD, this is how SL works.
For sculpt:
- I have never had the following problems with my sculpt, but we are aware that this can happen: If the object continues to appear distorted, please force loading of the sculpt map by checking or unchecking the mirror and invert flags ont the Edit -> Object Tab of the sculpt. If the problem continues, please check your LoD settings and your network connection to the SL server. If you don't know how to check these settings and connections, please ask your more-experienced friends for help.
