This is building components. You need to texture and script it.
Package includes:
- 1 (mod/copy/transfer) full perm 0.75 LI mesh mailbox:
- 1 (mod/copy/NO transfer) mailbox DEMO*;
- read me and yours personal license.
*There are no any mailbox functionality commercial versions scripts comes in this package. Scripted bonuses serves as only to show how it may works.
Notes:
Just mesh of mailbox that comes that comes with several faces to texture. as well it allows to make it animated to close open state (not any smooth animations, just open and close states). Included demo serves to show how it works.
LOD is custom made each stage, so no mess. Simple physics.
Compatible with ANY texture, not requires any uv map etc. Just use ANY you have or may have.
Bonus:
This package contains full functional (not full perm) mailbox that can be in use for personal case only. Scripts inside as well no modify and no transfer. This bonus shows example of how it maybe scripted.
How this bonuses works. To left message must hold Ctrl button and drag and drop notecard or item inside. You will receive personal message. And there are text will appears about mailbox how many unread messages left.
BONUS content comes as is, there are no support of it functionality. DO NOT FORGET TO RESET SCRIPT BEFORE USE, OTHERWISE MESSAGES WILL BE NOT DELIVERED TO YOU.
Caveats:
- Mesh versions stay the same prim count on current size, Resizing may increase prim cost;
- Mesh version linked may increase linkset prim cost as any other mesh, self it stay the same cost or less when unlinked.
- To texture separate faces of mesh absolutely the same to texture separate faces of simple cube. If you not sure how it works. please use SL FAQ, google. or ask yours more experienced friends for this building basics.
Yours license allows:
- Use content of this package as part of yours creations;
- To keep full perm content at one of yours alt for safe.
You license not allows;
- To sell, share, gift, transfer, decompile, extract content of this package as any source to any other person;
- To export, transfer through grids and use outside Secondlife;
- To sell, share, gift, transfer etc with full permissions, even as part of yours creation. It must be set no copy, or no modify, or no transfer;

Perfect, just what I needed, I intend to use this as the default shape for a "many admins" capable suggestions box and so forth, thank you for supplying something I can use as a base for the scripts rather than just saying "find your own shape, i'm a scripter damnit!" :)
