This is NOT FINAL PRODUCT, It is just 3D model (shape).
Package includes:
- 4 (no mod/copy/transfer) full perm* sculpt maps;
- 6 (no mod/copy/no transfer) builder scripts;
- read me;
*no mod on sculpt map not influence permissions of created with it 3D object that is full perm.
Notes:
Package updated with new version of butterfly and half butterfly stairs. You may see difference on pictures. In package it differs by name v4 and v5. Updated with left and right half butterfly stairs using the same sculpt maps.
Also builder scripts now creates full set of prim rails to suit yours stairs. You can build whole set unlink parts and use it for yours taste.
As usual there are no any special texture, ANY regular texture you have or may have will suit stairs.Stairs are shine-resistant, means if you set full shininess it will look ideal flat like would be build with regular prims, as well it works perfect with planar texturing.
For rails use any railings texture you have. By default uses Lindens Department railing texture for premium account houses.
Stairs are sculpt and stay 1 prim at any size. Although builder script by default builds in new physics system. So if you see after resizing big number goes roof, just change alpha mask on all transparent part to alpha blending and set physics on all prims to prim
At current size stairs with 2 rails cost 3 LI (3 prims and 3 land impact), but stairs with rails and 4 columns yet cost 3 LI, whole object is 6 LI.
So operate smart with physics, alpha blending mask and using or not new physics to keep low prim.
But remember object of selling is sculpt map, all above it is like bonus to show you how to apply butterfly stairs to yours creations, although created object is full perm of course.
Stairs not requires any support prim, you can walk by it along. As this is sculpt unlike mesh you can use mirror flag to mirror stairs so you can use for right and left entrance.
How to:
- Create prim;
- Drag and drop selected script on newly created prim.
DONE.
Note: This will automatically create a ready-to-use object; fully textured, the right size, and with your name as Creator. The script will auto-delete from the prim upon completion, so you can not care about it. While the script runs, you may see some distortion of the sculpted object. This is normal as a result of forcing a sculpt map to load in some regions.
Caveats:
- All textures property of their creators, and cannot be placed in package. But creator script makes textured object to show you how it must looks like.
- This sculpt maps supposed to be working with texture repeats 256 and more. If yours viewer not able to set repeats like that please choose any third party viewer, or use texture repeats scripts.
- I have never had the following problems with my sculpt, but we are aware that this can happen: If the object continues to appear distorted, please force loading of the sculpt map by checking or unchecking the mirror and invert flags on the Edit -> Object Tab of the sculpt. If the problem continues, please check your LOD settings and your network connection to the SL server. If you don't know how to check these settings and connections, please ask your more-experienced friends for help.

- use content of this package as part of yours own creation, for sale as soon as it is not full perm;
- keep (not use) in 1(one) of yours alts,
You not allowed;
- To sell, share, gift, transfer content of this package as images, UUID, content of object, part of texture packs or list to any other person;
- To give away full perm, or sale autocreated with scripts object without changing covering texture on it;
- To transfer through grids and use outside Secondlife.
