13 - Arctic Snow Cat Truck from Exosphere

The “Snow Cat” is a tough, track-driven utility truck designed for use in extreme low temperature environments. You can use it for carrying small cargo and crates in snow-bound sim terrains or on an alien ice planet.

Best part? You can create a realistic, heavy snowstorm blizzard around the vehicle by saying SNOW ON in chat.

It has two caterpillar tracks to power it along over the ice and snow. The driver's seat has an adjustable built-in pose menu. There’s even poses for standing up on the back of the truck. As you drive, the caterpillar tracks rotate and the faster your speed, the faster they'll turn. If you put it in reverse, they will rotate backwards. The engine sounds as it starts up and while it's running. White smoke emerges from the back when you move.

The vehicle has four headlights at the front and a set of red lights at the rear. You can control them using chat commands.

Quick Guide.

Movement.
Press and hold down the arrow keys to move forwards or backwards or to steer left or right.

Camera.
Use your mousewheel while driving to zoom closer to the driver or to pull back for a higher view.

Snowstorm Generator.
Type SNOW ON in chat. Snow will start to fall heavily and it will continue to fall all around the vehicle you as you drive around. Use SNOW OFF to stop the snow. It may take a moment for the snow to start or stop. If there are several other Snow Cat vehicles close by, they will all synchronise their snowstorms to give a massive blizzard..

Adjusting the Driver’s Seat.
Sit on the vehicle and type /1 MENU. Then, use the adjustment buttons to nudge the pose into the position that's right for you. It'll remember you and auto-adjust the seat the next time you sit on it.

Vehicle Lights.
You can turn the front lights on by typing CAT LIGHTS ON or OFF in chat.

Fumes.
As you drive, white fumes emerge from the rear.

Security.
This vehicle is locked to the owner's DNA and won't start for anyone else.
