This is an ECG/EKG machine modeled after the popular Cambridge Simpliscribe used in hospitals and doctors' offices in the 1950s and 60s. It is highly-detailed with an animated/moving paper strip readout which can display five different heart rhythms: normal sinus, tachycardia, bradycardia, ventricular fibrillation (v-fib) and asystole. The machine also gives strap-style ECG electrodes from the menu.

This makes a great addition to any asylum, old hospital, or doctor's office, and with its wood case, would probably be useful in a steampunk setting as well.

  • Animated readout strip
  • Menu-driven interface can display five heart rhythms
  • Gives patient electrodes
