1968 Camaro Convertible with 2023 Scripts Version 1.0

This is a free car demonstrating automotive scripts I wrote during the summer of 2023.

Try new things... This car does not have dialog box menus. There is no need to click the car for anything. Almost no chat text output comes from it. No prim text unless you type the command to turn it on and off. Everything is done through keyboard input controls, the hud and optional text input. It is functional and flexible enough to be used without the hud.

Use the hud long enough to learn all about it. You might like it enough to keep using it. The automated attachment process is very convenient and smart. It's the only one I know of that works so well. You don't have to open inventory to attach it. You don't have to right click and detach it unless you want to.

The hud has 4 faces:
1. lock/unlock, sound control, lights, reconnect
2. driver's seat adjust
3. doors, lids and roof
4. main driving utilities

There are several text input commands which can be seen by typing help in local chat.

The camera is flexible. Mouse wheel zooming in and out works. You also have view pitch control in the hud and a default follow distance setting in the notecard.

In the onboard configuration notecard, you can change the sounds, gravity, default view pitch and distance, set driver seat position and set a default speedometer conversion.

The sounds are steady, mellow rumble instead of high-rpm sounds.

This has 3 passenger seats. The passenger seat has seat adjust higher and lower and recover view & pose. The passenger seat pose and positions are notecard configurable.

Passenger seats were updated with different passenger sit poses and script edit on October 24, 2023.

This car has 11 scripts with 3 being identical passenger seat scripts. The root scripts are modular features which can be omitted once you know what each one does.

You know when the Drivers of SL hud says to exit the vehicle and remove it? You can just type "delete" to clean up this car without it landing in your trash or lost and found.

For GTFO!, its capacity is 4 FU. As of October 10, 2023, it comes with the VAPI notecard in it. You would only add the vehicle API script that is in your GTFO! folder. If you got this before the notecard was present, the name of the notecard you would add is:

I'm not the mesh model maker of this. I bought it full perms, and it has to be distributed no transfer. I removed some, adjusted some and added some things like the transparent vehicle prims, lighting and seating parts.
