It all began during a moment of madness, and probably one Firefly viewing too many. Once started there was no way back. It ain't perfect, but here you find my interpretation of what Mal & Co might be drooling over if only they'd ever made it into SL.
If none of the above means anything to you, don't worry - you don't have to be a browncoat to have fun with this engine.

Apart from obviously rotating (at idle speed, approx. 1 rev per 3 secs, click start/stop) the engine also contains various animated sub-assemblies and two particle-driven exhaust plumes.
This new (2014) mkIIIb version now features improved scripting which, unlike its predecessor, allow the engine & mount to be freely positioned without losing true alignment. A few more subtle improvements are also included, as is an updated plaque.

Please note that this boxed delivery contains two engines: one with, and one without twin exhaust smoke. In case you're allergic, or wish to rezz the engine in your bedroom. And why wouldn't you?

Prim count is 69 for the engine and 13 for the mount. Both are separate, so you could elect to rezz the engine only.
Instructions included.

  • inspired by Firefly & Serenity series/movie
  • rotation animation (click to start/stop) and many other moving/animated parts
  • includes exhaust smoke and engine mount
  • 2 engines included - one with, one without smoke
  • this new mkIIIb version can be positioned at will without loss of alignment
