Old Build, Very Laggy, Amazing Customer Care
I wrote a scathing review of this product that amounted to, great prim count but it sucks because it's a lag monster, refuting and rebutting the concept of lowering one's graphics to account for the product not being suitable for higher settings, a vendor practice I abhor. To my surprise I found today a package that included a new version of the bamboo that should have lower impact, I look forward to investigating it.
More importantly to me, he included a well written, polite, and respectful N/C, without any request I do anything about the review. To me that's class.
Originally I gave it two stars, issues being it is alpha blend and no modify and thus has alpha issues blending with any particle effects or alpha blend textures of other trees and because it is no modify I can't fix it by setting an alpha mask level, and the lag being worse than implied.
I've re-evaluated my review based upon the awesome response.
Politeness, knowledge, an understanding and respect of my critique are worth their weight in gold in SL. The number of times I've been bribed, cajoled, threatened, insulted, by vendors after a low rating review is such that it was a real breath of fresh air to find such respect and earnest desire to make things right. For this I'm giving it high stars and saying buyer beware on the product, I was given a 'new' version so I suppose the reader should seek that out, unless your looking for background filler where the lag won't be a problem, as it does still have a great prim count for something that looks good at a distance, making it good filler for a decent price.
Looks good, much variation 5/5
- Has many textures and styles so it's not repetitive and looks natural
- Very little prim usage for the size/complexity of the product
- Creator is prompt and professional with supporting their customers
- As most would know transparent on transparent textures tend to flicker but you will be pleased to know this minimal texture flickering ( Was one of my main concerns )

These are really good. Some of the best I've seen BUT the fact that they aren't copy kinda ruins it.
Amazing but.....
ive bought it for my japanese surroundings, the quality and options are just excellent, no doubts, BUT, the bamboo itself has something odd, as it makes my screen lag A LOT when i look at it, and sometimes my graphic card even crashed (i have a strong PC) that happened not only to me but to my friends also, so it cant be my problem only, if this issue was fixed it deserves more than 5 stars
