Seems Abandoned
I purchased this kit in hopes to offer fishing games and tournaments to my visitors. One of the groups I need to join requires that I purchase a 250L$ fishing rod. So I purchased it. More than a week later, I still have not received the group invitation. I've tried running contests but no visitors come out. I even listed my venue in the directory, but no one visits my venue. The person that it says to IM for support answers his IM's via e-mail only. He told me that he would do what it would take to get me invited to the groups. A week later, still no invites. I've tried messaging other admins but they tell me to message the person that responds to IM's via e-mail. This person doesn't log onto SL often. The other two admins I don't usually see either. I've come to the conclusion that 7seas fishing doesn't appear to be as common as it used to be which is why I haven't heard or seen much of it in the last couple of years. I'm now out the money for the kit and the rod I had to purchase in hopes I would get invited to the group. 7seas Sass though did send me a couple buckets of bait which I am grateful for. But other than that, I do not recommend this to anyone since support is basically next to nothing. If the designers/staff reach out to me about this review and we are able to resolve things, I will then remove this review. But just letting you all know buyer beware.

I have one of these systems set up at my home.. The only thing that would make it better if there was a "fish server" that you could attach to your boat. I would purchase a script for that :)
very dated, but still a lot of fun
The catches are cheezy but funny. It's simple to set up, to me. I didn't care about the contests and custom catch things, all I did was set out the server, a vendor, and I was all done. I didn't even mess with putting out the signs and things, since they cluttered it up too much. I just put the info card in a crate by the vendor for new people. Not too complicated. Now my sim has a nice little fishing area for guests and myself. My wish for 7Seas, is to start including more modern catches, and to let the servers work sim-wide instead of 100m.
