Salisbury Mk. I s a series of steel "tunnel buildings", closely based on the Nissen hut, one of the most iconic military buildings of both world wars. The series is of course mainly intended for military role play scenes but like the original, it is also very suitable for many other purposes.
The Nissen hut was originally developed by Major Peter N. Nissen in 1916. Originally intended as barracks, the huts were put to just about any use we can imagine, and during world was ii, several variants of Nissen's design were developed and manufactured in the thousands. The U.S. version, the Quonset hut, was still very much in use as late as during the Vietnam war. Between and after the world wars Nissen huts were adapted to civilian use as houses, sheds, barns, stores and even churches.

This version, the 0816 03B, is a medium sized barrack or office building with three dormers added to one side (the right side if you're standing outside facing the door). This was a very common modification since the original design, with windows only on the front wall, made for a rather dark and cavernous interior. The hut has also been stripped of its inner lining, exposing the wooden frame and giving it a rougher look. Possibly making it a healthier place too - some of the original Nissen huts were lined with asbestos!

Modifying the item
Chin Rey's Salisbury Mk. I 0816 03B is fully modifiable. That means you can resize it to any size you like (either manually or with the enclosed MBAGR resizer script) and change the textures to anything you like.
(To avoid any misunderstanding: Chin Rey's Salisbury Mk. I 0816 03B will be listed as not modifiable in you inventory. That is because it contains a no-modify script. Once rezzed, the item itself can be modified any way you like.)
