A Land Security Orb: Medusa Version 7.7

Medusa is a security device which will protect your land, no matter the size or the shape, against intruders, griefers or generally unwanted people.

Very easy to operate: touch and choose from a menu. The device has all the needed settings and functions without overwhelming the owner with unnecessary features.

Intruders will be ejected from your land or teleported home (depending on your choice).

Medusa is also perfect to protect your skybox, or your house or any spot in your property.
If the land is owned by a group, Medusa must be deeded to the group and it will work just as well.

Medusa is TOS compliant. It will be active ONLY on your land and it will NOT issue warnings nor attack anyone in neighboring lands.

The device can be operated only by the administrators. The original owner is the Chief administrator. Nine administrators can be added using the Admin menu.

Medusa has a ban and an access list which are independent of the land ban and access list. This way an avatar can be kept out of an area of the land, while being allowed in other areas.

The Medusa has 3 status:

Status OFF: the device is completely inactive.

Status IDLE: access is granted to anyone who is not in the Medusa ban list.

Status ON: the device will keep scanning your land, within the scanning range. The range can be set from 8 meters to the whole sim

Any unauthorized avatar will receive a warning. When the warning time has expired the intruder(s) will be banned and ejected (or teleported home).

If a banned avatar shows up again anywhere in your land (and within the scanning range), it will be immediately ejected or teleported home without any further warning .
