Note: The Types I, II, and III systems have just been discontinued. Existing customers requesting updates to their old products will receive the latest Type IV system as a replacement!

Upgrades made on May 4, 2009:

Expansion from a 4-sim travel area to a 9-sim travel area!
IMPROVED documentation: new Help notecard, and a GoogleDoc's version for better illustrations, and updating!
NEW Training mode for the server!

After having had mixed experiences with low-priced and free TP systems, and having made use of other, higher-priced TP systems, I am offering this as our most advanced-level TP system. The Type IV offers the adanced features of our Type II TP system, in particular the our scripting breakthough which allows any AV to be transported to adjacent sims! This is a GREAT feature for someone owning several private islands! AND, this is WITHOUT...repeat WITHOUT.... the use of the "BIG MAP" combined with this is our _simple_ in-world server, which serves as a single control point for all the pads in your sim! No longer will you have to visit every TP Pad in your sims and reconfigure it! No longer do you have to rely on systems whereby pads "find" each other in a sim, and dynamically add themselves to each others destination list! Simply place a single server in each of your adjacent sims for deployment and management of all your TP's!

You can choose to share the control of the server with group members. Or, you can assign a list of AV's by name that are allowed to operate the server: let your staff have some fun using this wonderful tool, too!

This TP has several features. You can TP to any location within a given SIM, from 0.0 to an altitude of 4096 meters! You can also TP to any location in an adjacent sim!

This TP is scripted in mono.

If you have ever had many TP Pads deployed in a sim, and suddenly you need to add 1 destination to all of them, you know how much work it is! You would have to visit each one of those pads, and make the same change to a notecard in it. With the server, you simply make the change to the notecard in the server. Then, you have the server send the updated notecard to the pads.

Besides making updates to the pads easier, the server makes initial pad deployment much easier! The server will rez a new TP Pad as you watch. You specify what style of pad, and even a channel group! Then the pad rez's, and you finish configuring it...usually just having the correct notecard sent to it from the server. Then, you use the server to send the pad to the final location! This is just a short introduction to the functions of the server.

Incidentally, the server is made to have the basic appearance of a Star Trek replicator.
We plan to offer some addtional server models which look even more authentic and canon, compared to this basic model.

Here is a list of key features:

Same-Sim transit.
Adjacent Sim-to-Sim transport, with both sims and destinations within sims listed on the menus.
Transit security options & restrictions.
Specify floating text above the notepad.
Use your own custom sounds.
Set the volume on the sounds.
Set the destination as a distance, or set as an exact location.
Set the Pad to use more than 1 beam.
Use your own custom beams with the pad.
Edit the appearance of our standard pad.
Put our scripts into your own custom pad.
Allow a user to go to the same destination as the previous user.
Allow a user to specify the vector they wish to go to.
Specify beam movement to be either WarpPos or Set-Jump.
Synchonize multiple beams appearing.
Allow/disallow beam hijacking (one AV rez's the beam, another AV gets transported).
Optional Simple-mode allows a pad to send an AV to a single destination without ever seeing a menu.
Group several pads through the use of assigining a channel.
Use the supplied "updater" object to send updates to the pad, either all the pads, or the pads of a specific channel(This is a simple way of sending them all the same settings notecards,a s well as the other key components in one oepration).
Through the use of our "SecureKey" method, you can control whether to allow a pad to receive updates from alternate updaters, and updaters owned by other AV's.
Type IV pads will not respond to updaters or servers made for Type I, II, and III pads.

Key features of the server:

Update the product by polling our product update server.
Update components of the pads on an individual pad, or group pad basis.
Select which componets to update.
Group/address pads on a channel basis.
Rez pads.
Place pads at their location.
Report about all deployed pads in the sim.
DE-rez pads anywhere in the sim: individually, by channel, or ALL of them at once!

I have 8 locations on 3 Sims that needed linking with TPs. I tried many systems, some failed, some had so-so results. While the NC'ing of instructions for the TPs can be a bit trying (more my lack of scripting knowledge than his help instructions included), his customer service is excellent. My system is up and running smoothly.
