A heavy duty hydraulic lift designed for lifting of large vehicles, or multiple smaller vehicles!

It will lift anything physical perfectly smoothly and realistically!
Additionally it works with Moo Spyker's cargo follow script!

This product looks best with advanced lighting in a mateials enabled viewer. It is made with normal maps and specular maps.

***How to use***

Rez the car lift, reposition it where you want.

Only move the lift while it is fully lowered!

To operate the lift, click the arrow buttons on the side of the elevator platform!
The big red button stops the motion. You can stop the lift at any position you like!

Additionally, you can use the included external control box, to add external controls for your elevator anywhere you like.
To pair up control boxes with elevators, just set the description of the control box to a unique name, then set the elevator's description's part before the comma to that name.

When the lift has reached the bottom, and it was moved while it wasnt fully lowered, it will snap back to where it was before the move!

***How to customize***

The car lift is modify, you can retexture select faces on it however you like with SL's edit tools.
Be mindful of the materials textures (Normal, Specular) While you are retexturing! If you do not have or want to use Materials, set Normal and Specular to none on the faces you retexture.
If you click and hold on the edges of the lift, you will get a recolor menu dialog, where you can pick from various colors!

You can resize the lift while it is fully lowered!
Changing the height of the lift needs the maximum extention distance tweaked!
The number after the comma in the description indicates the maximum extention distance in meters, change this number!

You can link things to the elevator, it will continue to function as long as the root prim is the same.
Linking or unlinking things while the elevator is not fully lowered may cause unexpected behavior!

---Why is the lift base jittering as it moves up and down?---

That is because a unique way of handling this kind of smooth motion in a single linkset!
It is a side effect, because the whole linkset is actually moving up and down with keyframe motion, and it moves all the linked parts down in a set frame time, resulting in a slight jitter.
Also because of this, if you link anything else to the car lift (yes its possible to link stuff to it), it will move with the lift upwards and downards, so you can link stuff that would be on the lift platform moving with it.

Great build but SL physics has limitations

Shopped for a lot of elevators, lifts and platforms. The builder was helpful in information in regards to this lift's abilities. I was looking for something to lift aircraft and the builder was confident this could do the job. Though advised that this could lift pretty much anything, anything is in regards to what the laws of SL physics allow and how item you are trying to lift is made. I purchased it and proceeded with a long lengthy test of aircraft including other ground vehicles. Vehicles in SL have to be on or running to work on most lifts while avatars are fine. I tired a lot of aircraft on this over the last few weeks and came to this conclusion. Mind you this is my experience and may differ from others. The lift handled about 90% of the aircraft that where placed on it. Unfortunately the %10 that would not work on the lift are popular aircraft. Which for my needs would not be fair to others using my facility. I will not list the aircraft out of respect to the builders but anyone wanting to know what aircraft failed can contact me. Cars, trucks and even tanks seemed fine with it. It is mod and you can change the looks or design with out issues. A great build, sound and operation is pretty good and it gets a five star out of effort, mod and customer relations.
