AZ Laptop w Logo - Wearable Range

This new wearable item is an update to both a previous prim/sculpt wearable design and a newer mesh design. It now offers more attachable options, more animations as well as a much more optimised mesh design. This set includes four different wearable laptops for multiple situations. Wear and use while standing, sitting on ground or bed, sitting at a table, or position on your lap wherever you choose to sit. The design is made to be easily customisable, tint the lid colour, change up the logo or sticker texture with your own personal design as well as adding new screen shot images to the content of the laptop lid so that you can choose to see your personal computer tools of choice, blogging, mesh building, image design etc, choices are limited only by your imagination.

All new mesh designs have been created with optimized scripts, textures and mesh LODS, to minimize land impact and lag.

**RANDOM Menu Option - gives you a choice of 3 timers that will randomly keep changing the laptop animation, so that it gives more variation to your avatar using the laptop. (note that no keyboard sound will play when typing with these options)

SCREEN IMAGES - I have provided a sample choice of a few textures to start (mesh design, in sl shot, image manipulation, coding, maketplace). If you would like to add or remove images so that you personalise your laptop, simple add or delete images by using the build menu. Tick "edit linked" > click on the laptop lid mesh > go to "Content" tab, either delete or add new images and the script should recognise the update. To take a screen shot simply, "print a screen" of your real computer and use a image program to save it as a 512 x 512 image and upload to Second Life, drag this into the contents of the lid. The laptop is design to convert that 512 x 512 image into the current standard screen size.

COLOR - I would suggest the main area you might wish to color customise is the laptop lid. As a precaution, you mish to make a copy of the item prior to modifying. The mesh lid is made up of 4 material areas. Right click on the laptop > tick "edit linked" & "select faces" > click on the outside edge of the laptop lid > go to the "Texture" tab and tint the lid color as you wish. The texture loaded is a light shade therefore it is easily tinted.

LOGO or STICKERS - There are two design sets available one that has a simply sticker montage, the other includes a generic logo that lights up when the laptop turns on/off. Both options use the same material face on the laptop lid. If you wish to remove either the sticker or the logo, make a copy as a precaution, right click on the laptop > tick "edit linked" & "select faces" > click on the center of laptop lid > go to the "Texture" tab and set the transparency to 100%, this will hide the lid decoration.

Change Logo - Create a light logo design with alpha background and import into Second Life (I suggest 512 x 512) and change the texture via the Texture tab in the build menu (I suggest using the mask alpha mode at around 100, for a optimised texture). As the script for this version is set to change the texture to full bright with a slight glow, a lighter logo is the most effective. Add bump or shine as you would like (note the generic logo uses the same image for the bump to add depth, remove if you change the logo).

Change Stickers - Create whatever design you would like to overlay your laptop lid, stickers, images, saying etc. Make them with a transparent background if you wish to see the lid or a full image and import into Second Life (I always suggest 512 x 512 textures where possible) then change the texture via the Texture tab in the build menu. Add bump or shine as you like.
