Thank you for your interest in our first official release, the Flutter Wings!
Please try the demo first!
- VERSION 3.1 UPDATE NOTES -
► Optimized code to self-correct for Second Life glitches and reduce contribution to sim lag.
► Eliminated the use of an SL gesture to toggle between 'normal mode' and 'Flying AO Mode'.
Switching between modes is now done via the new “Mode” button on the menu.
► Added an adjustable 'Flutter Sound' that activates with the visual 'Flutter Effect'.
► Added the ability to apply glow independently to the 'bones' and the 'membrane'.
► Added the ability to adjust the transparency level of the 'membrane'.
► Added a “CUSTOM” button to the menu that automatically applies custom textures.
► The scripts will no longer reset every time they are detached and then reattached. Instead, a
“RESET” button has been added to the menu.
Features below!
_____
- MODES
1. NORMAL MODE: In Normal Mode, the "flutter effect" will only start when your avatar is flying. The effect will end when your avatar stops flying. Every time you detach, and then reattach the wings, the scripts will reset and put you in Normal Mode by default.
2. FLYING AO MODE: In Flying AO Mode, the "flutter effect" will ALWAYS be on. This mode is for use with specialty AOs that make your avatar appear as if it is flying or hovering in the air, even when you are technically standing, walking or running.
- CHANGING TEXTURES (COLORS)
The Flutter Wings 'Unisex' mesh wings come with 11 different texture options that can be applied independently to the bones and membrane for a total of 121 unique combinations.
Because the mesh wings are modifiable, you can also tint them in addition to changing the texture. Tinting an object with complex geometry can be a challenge for beginners.
*Included with the regular "flutter effect" mesh wings are a set of mesh wings designed for use in SL photography or for those who just wish to have open / spread wings. The photography version of the mesh wings does NOT have the "flutter effect." The wings will stay in the same position whether you are flying or not.

Great wings, perfect for what I needed!
Been looking for some insect-like wings for a bee girl avi, and these were perfect! I couldn't get the resize scrip to trigger, but the edit stretching works just fine. They look so nice and work so well, I'll probably use them on future avis too! AND SUCH A GREAT PRICE!
Exactly what I had in mind
Absolutely superb, they are just lovely, fully functional, size adjust, colour change, transparency and glow adjust. perfect flutter when you fly, gentle flutter sound, volume can be changed, I love them.
These are the ones you're looking for
These wings are pretty much perfect. They scale well, recolor well, and animate well.
Just what I was looking for!
These are the perfect wings for my bee avatar, but with such versatility, they are great for fairies, fey, or any other number of ideas!
Love them
These wings are in my mind the best bee wings out there by visuals and sound alone, they are nicely animated too for when your flying around...for what ya pay and get i say every bee/insect avatar should get these wings <3
Script Convolution
I just want to preface my review simply by saying that I think these are undoubtably the BEST done wings on the marketplace. The model is perfect for what it's going for, the animation of the wings during flight are immaculate, and on top of everything they're customizable... My biggest issue is the convoluted scripting involved. More importantly regarding texture changing. This could just be me being a neanderthal but it took me a solid 30 minutes or so, a relog, and reading the DEMO read-me to figure out you ACTUALLY have to "Click and hold on the wings for 2 seconds" before the menu will appear. How I didn't accidentally figure this out trying to walk and steer my self is beyond me. There's still some stuff I haven't figured out yet, like how to make the buzzy sounds. But aside from that one grievance, I'd still have to say 5/7 perfect score! TL;DR - Rather than one simply click to change wings, you have to click and hold. Why?
