Make it snow in front of any of your windows by covering them with this animated, low-lag, low-land impact 3D-like snow panel.
The default panel has 4 faces, showing an animated snow texture at different scales and speeds, to create a depth effect. Scale the panel, or copy it, to cover larger windows. The default size is 2 x 2 m (LI=1)
For even less lag, remove the script after copying the panel. The animation will continue without the script (but stops if you make a copy of the scriptless version).

For those of you who want to enhance your skybox homes this works fantastic! Just put it outside a window and you have a magical scene!
Let it Snow!
I'm using these on both my home (skybox) and store windows. The snow has a lovely, realistic depth to it and I can confirm it keeps falling even after the scripts are removed. The prims are also phantom, so you can even use them in front of doorways and walk through them. You can also resize the prims quite a bit without affecting the appearance of the snow.
