This simple script will trigger an animation of your choice when the object is sat upon and stop the animation when the avatar unsits.
The script doesn't require a sittarget which is what makes it different from other scripts.
See item in Second Life- Trigger an animation on sit.
Works perfectly!
Beautiful! Thank you so much!
If it causes your avi to rotate 90° then just edit object and turn the object to correct position. It will remain in place.
There is a bug.
Each time when i re-sit on the the, the animation's z axis changes in 90° angle.
Works perfectly!
Only the second script I've used in SL, so yes - I loaded it still in the box to start with... But then I put it in properly along with the anim, and it worked first time! Huge thrill! I perhaps haven't worked out how to create an object with more than one sit in it yet, but next project :)
Way Off
I put it in but I don't sit on the object and end up sitting kind of far from it.
works great!
The other reviewers clearly can't read. Drop your script in, drop your animation in. Sit on object. Animation plays. Don't add other stuff like avsitter or w/e. Just the 2 things and done.
dropped in item
dropped in a prim, dropped in a sit.. nothing.. if i add avsitter 1st then remove it then add in just this script. then i works.. not sure what that has to do with it.. but something to know if it dont work for you off the bat
