Anonymous Chat HUD and Region Server
Also can be used as a speed dating game on server.
No html external server but you can have multiple copies on many servers but no region to region chat the HUD only communicates on a single sim.
The HUD is free to copy and transfer as part of the chat system.
SERVER
The server is very easy to setup simply rez it on any region
The menu options are
*Rooms on or off (the server will display when a room is in use and how many logged into that room)
eg 920002 = 9 people in the Lobby and 2 people in Room 1 and 2 in Room 5.
*Chat on or off (the server will display all the chatter from all rooms if turned on)
*Reset scripts (resets everything to default values)
The chat text is restricted to 150 characters (letters) due to hover text display restrictions.
If the server does not detect any chat in in any room 10 minutes it will time out and reset
scripts this is because of a bug in second life that does not allow scripts to detect if
someone logs out or crashes thereby leaving 1 unaccounted for in a chat room its
recommended to log out using the HUD or detaching the HUD prior to logging off.
Lobby = up to 100 people
Rooms 1 to 5 = 2 people : any logs after this will be rejected in that chat room
Rooms 6 to 8 = 3 people : any logs after this will be rejected in that chat room
Room 9 to 11 = 4 people : any logs after this will be rejected in that chat room
HUD CHAT
This is a HUD so please just add it or wear it on the screen.
When attached it will detect if a server is in your region and let you know if it finds one.
If it finds a server you can click on LOGIN to enter a room the lobby is recommended to meet and choose a
mutual chat room for a more private chat remember its totally anonymous chat.
Unless of course there are 2 people on the server LOL
To chat click on the two faces in the middle, a text box is displayed type your chat and click send the
server will send it to everyone in your chat room only.
To log off just detach the HUD or click LOGOUT

Works great
A bit confusing to talk to someone you don't know the name to but I guess that's what the server and hud is designed to do. I just give the hud to anyone visiting my sim for free and have the server box on my private skybox. I've not used it for a speed dating game but i think it would work just fine because I can just reset the chat rooms after a certain amount of time forcing people to reshuffle in the chat rooms lol should be a lot of fun
