A George IV Scottish Carved Mahogany Secretaire Bookcase.
Circa 1820
The top with moulded cornice and frieze above bookshelves enclosed by pair of glazed panel doors with beaded moulding between foliate scrolls.
The drop door opens to reveal a fitted figured interior with drawers and pigeon holes all inlaid with ebony stringing above two cupboard doors.
The drop door works by touch and the secretaire is one linked unit so no problems moving it around. Resizable.
